CAFRE’s Spring Open Week – A Warm Welcome Awaits

Discover the wide range of study routes available at the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) during Spring Open Week, taking place from Saturday 7 March to Friday 13 March 2026.

CAFRE welcomes prospective students with their parents and guardians to explore its three campuses at Enniskillen, Loughry (Cookstown), and Greenmount (Antrim). During the event, visitors will be guided by staff and enthusiastic Student Ambassadors on tours of specialist teaching, learning, and residential facilities which offer a first‑hand insight into life as a CAFRE student.

For GCSE school leavers, CAFRE offers Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Agriculture, Equine, Food, Floristry, Horticulture, Land-based Engineering and Veterinary Nursing.

For A-Level and Leaving Certificate school leavers, CAFRE offers a range of BSc Honours, Foundation Degrees and Higher Level Apprenticeships in partnership with Ulster University. Study areas include Agriculture, Food, Equine Management and Horticulture.

Enniskillen Campus offers the widest range of equine specific courses in Ireland. Come along on Saturday 7 Marchfor information on Equine and Work-based Agriculture programmes.

Loughry Campus, Cookstown provides multi-disciplinary study focusing on innovation, science, technology and nutrition. Courses in Food Innovation Management, Sustainable Agri-Food Management, Food and Drink Manufacture and Food Technology and Science/Nutrition are on offer. Campus tours are planned for Tuesday 10 March, 2026.

Greenmount Campus, Antrim is the main provider of courses in Agriculture, Floristry, Horticulture, Land-based Engineering and Veterinary Nursing. Book yourself onto a campus tour planned for Wednesday 11 and/or Friday 13 March, 2026.
