CAFRE to host Milk Quality – Competing in a Global Market Place webinar

March 1, 2021

The College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE), in association with the Society of Dairy Technology (SDT) are hosting an online webinar entitled, ‘Milk Quality – Competing in a Global Marketplace’ on Tuesday 16th March at 11.00am. This webinar aims to provide an update on the ongoing work to support quality and safety within the supply chain.

Research has shown that, in reputational terms, quality is the single most important attribute of the local Dairy Industry. A well-earned reputation for excellence and quality are key to the confidence and loyalty which consumers have in dairy products.

Global export markets, national regulatory standards and customers are demanding the supply of increasingly higher quality milk. In order to compete on a global scale producers and processors are striving to supply milk and milk products to the highest quality, ensuring legal and safety standards are maintained.
