Equine Management Conference 2020

The College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) is running an Equine Management Conference on the 25th March 2020 at Enniskillen Campus. The conference will deliver up to date, technical information on a range of topics relevant to equine management. The speakers will share new research and information that will enable participants to manage their horses more effectively. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions following each session.

Equine Weight Management Project

The speakers include Anke Twigg-Flesner from Hartpury University discussing rugging practices, Tamzin Furtado from the University of Liverpool discussing equine metabolic disorders, John Burford from the University of Nottingham discussing colic and recent advances in colic surgery and Shane Collins from the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) discussing equine influenza and vaccination practices. Attendance at this event will count towards CPD for BHS Accredited Professional Coaches.
