Promoting Health and Safety with Horses – free online course
The College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) is promoting equestrian safety in the month leading up to the Mark Davies Injured Riders Fund National Equestrian Safety Day on the 24th March. Information and guidance on how to work and interact with horses safely will be issued and a free online course on Health and Safety with Horses will be offered from 12th March until the 6th April. The course will cover safe working practices and how to reduce risks of accidents and injury. Participants can access the course material at a time and place which suits them and upon completion of the course all participants will gain a certificate of completion from CAFRE.
Ensure you can work safely around your horses by taking the free online Health and Safety with Horses course.
Participants must enrol online by Monday 5th March through the Health and Safety with Horses course page. When registering on the CAFRE website, please ensure to enrol on the Health and Safety with Horses course after setting up an initial CAFRE log in. A good internet connection will be necessary for this course.
