Giltspur Scientific student bursary award presented at Enniskillen Campus
Mark Nolan from Ashbourne, Co Meath, a first year Foundation Degree student in Equine Management at CAFRE Enniskillen Campus was the lucky recipient of the Giltspur Scientific bursary which was presented by Mr.Harold Lusk at Careers Day.
Mark received the prize of £500 for achieving the top mark in the Competition Preparation module, which is a first year module on the FdSc Equine Management programme. Students were required to write an essay on the “Importance of incorporating the Scales of Training when preparing horses for affiliated competitions”.
Upon receiving the award, Mark stated that ‘I am very grateful to have won this award, kindly offered by Giltspur Scientific. I hope to use the money for my second year expenses at CAFRE’.
