Alison Green, National Diploma Year Manager, together with final year Food Technology Degree student, Jamie Houston (Antrim) and first year National Diploma Food, Nutrition and Health student Gayle Murphy (Randalstown) extend an invitation to the Loughry Campus Open Day on April 8th to check out the courses on offer at the campus.
The Open Day will provide a fantastic opportunity to find out more about Loughry’s courses and facilities: you might get some nice surprises, for example the competitive course fees, affordable accommodation, as well as excellent range of career opportunities, which have certainly made Loughry Campus the first choice for many new entrants.
In extending an invitation to the Open Day, Derek McDowell, Head of Food Technology Education Services at Loughry Campus, states “The Northern Ireland food and drink industry is our largest manufacturing industry and to continue its growth it needs creative, motivated and talented graduates who can deliver success. Loughry is ideally placed to provide education and training for those wishing to follow rewarding careers in the food and drink industry and our students are in demand, largely due to the practical nature of our courses and the fact they are taught in world class facilities – right on your doorstep”.
Loughry offers courses in Food, Nutrition and Health, Food Technology, Food Business Management, Food Design and Nutrition and Communication. Courses are available at all levels from National Diploma, suitable for students with GCSE’s to Degree and Masters Degree, on both a full and part-time basis.
