CAFRE student formals for Greenmount and Loughry Campus

Students attending Greenmount and Loughry Campus and reciently enjoyed their respective formals.

Loughry students attended their annual formal hosted by the Glenavon House Hotel in Cookstown with the surprise of the night occurring when the hotel staff burst into song during the meal, thanks to the ‘singing waiters’. Students danced the night away to the band ‘Fusion’, indulgenced themselves with a chocolate fountain and had fun with the photo booth.

The Annual Greenmount Student Formal was held on in the Tullyglass House Hotel, Ballymena. The largest ever number of staff and students attended along with partners and guests. After a lovely three-course meal everyone took to the dance floor for some well-practised jiving.  The fantastic band ‘Superstition’ entertained the students with live music followed by a disco.

This year the Greenmount Formal was supported by a number of businesses with donations towards a prize draw which raised £600 for the nominated charity CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).
