CAFRE present trees to school garden winners
26 June 2012

School teams who won Gold in the Alliance team challenge at the Airtricity Garden Festival last month attended a presentation at Greenmount Campus recently  and were presented with trees by Martin Wooster and Colin McKnight (horticulture instructors at CAFRE - Greenmount Campus). The students also had an opportunity to watch Martin and Colin demonstrate the correct way to plant their new tree. Later they got some inspiration for next year’s show gardens by walking through the Greenmount Walled Garden and visiting the gardens built by this years Horticulture students and the Greenmount student team who are in training for the World Skills competition.
