Exploring food is an enjoyable activity as Loughry’s National Diploma students have been discovering in the College’s world class facilities. As part of their practically based courses the students have been manufacturing Easter Eggs and through research they have discovered some of the beneficial properties of chocolate.

- Students visit Meadowview Rehabilitation yard
Students on the final year National Diploma in Equine Management at CAFRE’s Enniskillen Campus study Horse Rehabilitation and Therapy. In order to better understand the rehabilitation programme of a horse suffering from injury, the students visited Meadowview Rehabilitation Yard in Keady, Co. Armagh.
- The future herd at grass
The Future Herd dairy cows at Greenmount Campus, CAFRE, have had their first grass of the season. A group of 50 mid-lactation cows have been turned out since 23rd March to strip graze for 3-4 hours per day after the morning milking
- 2011 McGovern Seven’s Winners - St Michael's Enniskillen
The annual McGovern Sevens competition organised by Loughry Campus, CAFRE and played at the Mid Ulster Sports Arena in Cookstown, attracted teams from across the province.
