Student View: David Watterson, Cookstown

Coming from a farming background, David always had an interest in agricultural machinery and started working for an agricultural contractor in his spare time. He enjoyed the repair and maintenance of the contactor’s machines and decided to study at Greenmount towards a formal qualification. Having completed this initial qualification David is now employed at an agricultural garage and is working towards a NVQ in Land-based Service Engineering.

“My full time study at the College was a good preparation for what I’m doing now. I enjoyed being on a course with other people interested in the same things as me.”
