Quality Control Technician

£15,500-£17,500
We are seeking to recruit a Quality Control Technician to join our Quality Department. This role will be a multifunctional role where the objective is to link and work closely with all our departments especially production.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Relevant experience in conducting internal and overseeing customer audits and implementing improved policies and procedures to BRC standard within the food industry
- Relevant experience in the food industry that demonstrates leadership in food preparation and quality to include providing technical assistance and resolutions to production
- An understanding and can demonstrate management of Food Safety, HACCP, current legislation and Customer Technical Policies
- Ability to focus, develop and manage people while encouraging a positive and ‘can do’ attitude
- Relevant experience in training to specifications and basic food hygiene standards
The successful candidate must also possess:
- A recognised qualification in a food science discipline
- A recognised qualification in the areas of databases, spreadsheets, email and the internet
- A working knowledge and experience within a Quality Department within a food industry
