Laying the Foundations of good gardening in Glenarm
27 April 2012 Students of the Foundation degree in horticulture at Greenmount campus (CAFRE) which is located in Antrim visited the charming Glenarm Walled Garden recently under the guidance of Mr Reg Maxwell, garden consultant. The students were learning how the redesigned gardens were being managed by the dedicated team at Glenarm. Mr Maxwell was keen to stress to the students that good garden design required good knowledge of how plants grow and mature. The students are studying garden design principles as part of their two year Foundation Degree in Horticulture at CAFRE in Antrim. Further details of the walled garden can be found at www.glenarmcastle.com
