Bursaries up for grabs for HE students

Launch Day Tuesday 18 August 2009

Each year the agri – food industry provides substantial bursaries to students commencing Higher Education courses at CAFRE’s Greenmount Campus.

These bursaries are designed to assist students in their academic studies. To date, recipients have used the money to pay tuition fees or accommodation, to purchase laptops and books and to help enjoy College life to the full.

This year there are at 10 bursaries on offer, each of at least £1000, for students commencing BSc Agricultural Technology, Higher National Diploma in Agriculture courses and Foundation Degrees in Horticulture and Rural and Countryside Management.

If you are interested in applying for one of these bursaries, come along to Greenmount Campus at 12.30 on Tuesday 18 August 2009. At this event you will have an opportunity to meet other students and the organisations providing the bursaries.
