Greenmount students prepared to give blood for the cause

While 94 percent of the population of Northern Ireland still fail to donate blood the same could not be said of Greenmount students and staff.  During a recent visit of the Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service to Greenmount students and staff from the National Diploma in Agriculture programme  including  – Paddy Nolan from Belfast , Danny Millar from Newtownstewart Co Tyrone , Stuart Gillespie from Ahoghill Co Antrim and NDA course manager Kenneth Johnston each donated a pint of the red stuff .Paddy said “ it is a great feeling knowing that you are helping others while at the same time you never know when you might need blood yourself in the future”
