CAFRE Enniskillen students - Working together with Industry
The Enniskillen Campus equine units provide a range of opportunities for students to develop practical and management skills which are important for their future careers. A new industry representative group has been set up to provide technical advice and support to students who are involved in the management of the campus’ three equine business units i.e. the breeding, equitation and racing units. This group known as EQUES (Equine Units for the Education of Students), meets regularly with the students throughout the academic year. This learning by doing approach, combined with the unique opportunity for students to work with key industry experts through the EQUES board, helps the campus in preparing its graduates for their careers in the equine sector.
