  • Beekeeping Success
    Adam Ferguson has been awarded the Federation of Irish Beekeepers Association (FIBKA) prize for the highest marks gained by an under 21 year old taking the FIBKA Preliminary Beekeeping exam. Adam was just 14 years old when he attended a local Preliminary beekeeping course taught by Lorraine McBride of the Ulster Beekeepers Association (UBKA).

    The new Level 2 Diploma in Agriculture offered at Greenmount Campus is a one year programme which aims to fully equip students with the skills necessary to work within the agricultural industry or return home to farm. A wide range of subjects are covered from Farm Animal Production to Environment and Land Based Business, alongside a variety of practical skills taught on farm.
