Are your Communication skills tying you down?
10 June 2010 Whether you are a political leader taking part in the election debates or simply going for a job interview, something as subtle as the colour of your tie can “communicate” so much about you. If you do land that job, the ability to successfully communicate in an ever changing environment involves more than just picking the right tie. The MSc in communication develops your communication skills to effect positive change in your workplace. The Open Evening at Loughry Campus, Cookstown on Tuesday 22 June between 5 pm – 8 pm will present the perfect opportunity for recent graduates and those already in employment to see if the communication course “matches” your requirements for skills development. The Postgraduate Communication course is a Queen’s University of Belfast course, delivered at Loughry Campus Cookstown, with options available in Training & Development for Rural Business and Strategic Management for Rural Business. The MSc in communication is available on a full and part-time basis and although the course is designed for people working in or seeking a career in the agri-food and rural business sectors, it is open to all students as communication skills are transferable to any job. For more information freephone 0800 0284291. Better still, why not come along to our Open Evening on Tuesday 22 June between 5 pm and 8 pm to see the facilities, meet the staff and see what we have on offer.
