Merial contribute to veterinary nurse training at Greenmount Campus
25 January 2012 Students on veterinary nursing courses at the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise, Greenmount Campus have many opportunities to learn of the latest developments in animal care and veterinary nursing. They were delighted when Janet Winter from Merial came to the Campus recently to talk to them about important veterinary topics including parasite control and vaccination. Janet Winter, a Merial Veterinary Technical Advisor – Companion Animal gave an excellent lecture on parasites of dogs and cats and the vaccination of dogs and cats. She also presented each student with a range of very useful booklets and a CD. Janet’s talk was very interesting and informative and should prove a valuable aid to students in their efforts to be successful in their Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons exams later in the year.
