Five-a-day way to a fantastic career!
25 August 2010

Loughry student Anna Hobson is hoping an action packed summer placement with Orchard County Foods will bear fruit for her future career.

Anna is half way through a National Diploma course and is excited by the prospect of what lies ahead.

“Obviously I can’t wait to get back to college in September but I’ve enjoyed working in a technical role within Orchard County Foods so much that it’s made me even more determined to work in this area in the future.

“The job is so diverse. No two days are ever the same! One day I might be helping to draft specifications for one of our major customers, the next I’m working on the development of new products”.

If you’ve recently completed your GCSE’s, A-levels aren’t the only route to university. Places may still be available for September 2010 entry on one of Loughry’s National Diploma programmes.
