The annual McGovern Sevens competition organised by Loughry Campus, College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise and played at the Mid Ulster Sports Arena in Cookstown, attracted teams from across the province. Just one point separated the finalists with St Pius X College, Magherafelt victorious over St Michael’s College, Enniskillen. Both teams played consistently well throughout the competition culminating in a good natured, keenly contested final.
