Greenmount students pleased to see cows at grass
21 April 2010

Greenmount students have been very pleased to see the dairy cows turned out to fresh spring grass. National Certificate in Agriculture [NCA] students Richard Thom from Tobermore and Adam Vance from Beragh are coming towards the end of their 1 year course at Greenmount. Both students have a keen interest in dairy production and have enjoyed their NCA course greatly . Adam said “it is hard to believe the year is almost over. I have really enjoyed the course and am now thinking about progressing on to either the National Diploma in Agriculture or the new NVQ course. I have learned a lot in the past few months, but am also even more aware of how much there is still to get to know. I have especially enjoyed working with the dairy cows and it is great to see the cows now out at grass. “
