Love in a Shoe Box

Loughry Campus students have ensured that children in Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Serbia will enjoy the thrill of opening presents this Christmas. The students responded to the challenge from staff, in particular Claire Conway, to bring some sunshine into the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves. Having collected £580 from staff and students for the Samaritans Purse Appeal, the students spent a few evenings wrapping and packing, resulting in an impressive 61 shoe boxes filled with presents.

A very charitable end to the year, obviously Loughry students having used all their shoe boxes, plan to put their best foot forward!
