Packaging Diploma student Ciaran O’Kane received the Starpack Award for gaining the highest marks in The Diploma in Packaging Technology examinations. This is the fifth time a Loughry student has achieved this success.

- Loughry Students are ‘Milkin It’ at Fane Valley!
Mary Breen is a first year National Diploma student on a Food Technology 12 placement with Fane Valley. Mary is working in the laboratory, analysing milk samples. The placement is designed to give students some experience of the food industry.
- Nutrition Awareness for School Pupils
Over 350 senior school pupils from schools through out Northern Ireland attended food nutrition awareness workshops at Loughry Campus, College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE).

Donna McGuire has graduated with a National Diploma in Food Nutrition & Health. She is leaving to pursue her chosen career in Dietetics. The National Diploma allows students to progress to Higher Education in an alternative, more practical way to A-levels.

Louise Liggett and Alice Cunningham have graduated with a National Diploma in Food Nutrition & Health. Louise is leaving to pursue her chosen career in Environmental Health.
