Take part in the CAFRE Trail Summer Scheme 2008

With UWT on the CAFRE Trail at  Greenmount Campus, Antrim.

UWT in partnership with CAFRE are delighted to bring you news of our Summer Scheme designed to cater for children aged 7 – 12 years old. Cost per child is £50 and will take place on:-

• Week 1: Mon 7 to Fri 11 July 2008
• Week 2: Mon 21 to Fri 25 July 2008
• Week 3: Mon 28 July  to Fri 1 Aug 2008
• Week 4 : Mon 4 to Fri 8 Aug 2008
• Week 5:  Mon 11 to Fri 15 Aug 2008
• Week 6: Mon 18 to Fri 22 Aug 2008

From 10am – 4pm each day.

The week long activities will vary so that children may book into more than one week, so check the theme for the week when booking. Take part in fun, interactive activities relating to farming and wildlife such as:

• Pond dipping and mini-beast hunts
• Investigating farming and growing your own food workshop
• Maintaining wildflower meadows
• Building biodiversity boxes
• Treasure hunts and arts and crafts activities
