24 February 2009 By Adrian Quinn Greenmount Association PROThe Royal Court Hotel, Portrush, was packed to the rafters on Saturday 24 January when the Greenmount Association hosted a Charity Comedy Evening in aid of the National Association for Colitis and Crohn’s (NACC). Over 300 people were treated to a magnificent evening’s entertainment. James Hanrahan impressed on lookers with his table-side magic tricks as the audience arrived. Alan McKee had the audience in stitches with his quick witted hilarity. Some specialist items were also auctioned off to raise additional money for the charity. Following a finger Buffet, Ian Coalter gave the audience some more laughs with his humourous tales. Plug and Dom then brought the evening to a close with some great music. David McClarty also did a tremendous job as compere of the event. The final amount raised on the night was a whopping £5020.20.
