Sister Act on Loughry Food Course
02 April 2009 Sisters Claire and Donna Warrington make the perfect duet on the Food Supply Management Degree course at Loughry Campus, Cookstown after the students had been asked to contact friends and family to inform them of the range of food programmes on offer at the campus and have the chance of winning an iPod. Claire Warrington, who hails from Fivemiletown, is studying part-time for her BSc (Hons) in Food Supply Management Degree. She is convinced that the hours spent studying is well worth the effort to get an honours degree and with a virtual guarantee of employment, it wasn’t hard to convince her younger sister, Donna to sign up for a course at Loughry Campus. Donna, who is completing her first year at Loughry, is also studying the Food Supply Management honours degree course, but through the full-time study option. Whilst both girls can look forward to the ultimate reward of a challenging career in the food sector, in the meantime, enjoy the music! You too can help spread the word about CAFRE and win an iPod for you and a friend. If you know anyone finishing school or considering starting a course in September, tell them about our spring open evening at Loughry Campus. Just get a friend to fill in the open evening postcard and bring it with them to the open evening on Tuesday 28 April, between 3.00 and 8.00 pm, where they can enter the free draw to win an iPod player each.
