Cut your energy costs

CAFRE has organised a series of energy efficiency workshops for dairy farmers from 10 to 14 November.  The workshops will help farmers make economies in the use of electricity and oil within the dairy unit.

The workshop is divided into a theory part in the morning followed by a practical tour of a dairy unit in the afternoon to identify specific areas where efficiencies can be made.  
The five centres for the training are Armagh, Dundonald, Ballymoney, Greenmount Campus and Omagh.  Farmers attending previous workshops found them very helpful and were able to save money in the day to day running of their business.
