UWT in partnership with CAFRE are delighted to bring you news of our Summer Scheme designed to cater for children aged 7 – 12 years old. Take part in week long fun, interactive farming and wildlife activities.
- Greenmount students “at home” with the ARD Committee
Greenmount Campus was the venue recently for an open session of the Agriculture and Rural Development Committee. Two students, David Kirk and Mark Allen gave a formal presentation to the Committee about their experiences at Greenmount and had to field a number of penetrating questions afterwards

- Greenmount opens its Gardens
Take some time out this summer and come and enjoy a few hours in the glorious grounds of Greenmount Campus. Visit the spectacular Richardson’s Walled Garden and DARD Rose Garden.
- Hill Farm Management under spotlight
Students on the BSc Agriculture Technology and the HND Agriculture courses can select an option from Dairying, Beef and Sheep or Crop Husbandry within a unique Enterprise Management module. First year students choosing the Beef and SHEEP Production option get "hands-on" practical and management experience in the day-to-day running of Greenmount Hill Farm , Glenwherry: 1000ha, 1100 sheep and 100 suckler cows, through the U.P.L.A.N.D.S. (Uniting the Production of Livestock and Nature Development for Sustainability) project.
