Funding for full time students may be available if they meet eligibility criteria. Further EducationDARD Further Education Awards will be administered by the Western Education and Library Board (WELB) on behalf of DARD. Students enrolled on a full-time Further Education course at CAFRE should therefore apply to WELB for financial support. There are no tuition fees for full-time Further Education courses. For more details see the further education financial support page. Higher EducationThe administration of Higher Education Awards has been transferred to Student Finance NI. Student Finance NI is a partnership between the Education and Library Boards (ELBs) and the Student Loans Company (SLC) for delivering financial support to students on behalf of the Department for Employment and Learning (DEL) Northern Ireland. Students should therefore apply to their local Education and Library Board for financial support. CAFRE Tuition Fees 2012/13 :- The tuition fees for full-time HE courses for students from Northern Ireland and other countries in the European Economic Area will be £1380 per year (subject to confirmation). The tuition fees for students from Great Britain have not been set but are likely to be broadly in line with the level of fee charged by institutions in England for comparable courses eg up to a maximum of £9000 per year for a full time course leading to an Honours degree in a land-based or food discipline.
