Student View: Andrew Lyons
I was already working part-time with a dairy company when I heard about Loughry. My goal is to work at supervisory or junior management level in the dairy sector, so signing up for the Food Manufacture course seemed right up my street. I’m really enjoying the course so far, there’s a good mix of practical and theory elements to it and the lecturers are really friendly and helpful which makes all the difference.
My time at Loughry so far has been both educational and exciting and for anyone thinking about a career in food, I’d say “there’s plenty of jobs out there, so go for it!”
