Student View: Mark McFarland

“I come from a large dairy farm outside Newtownstewart. I am studying this course so I can get a better understanding of working with all stock, particularly beef cattle and sheep as I had no experience of them at all. Another benefit is that I have achieved my PA2a spraying, Telehandler and Safe Tractor Driving Certificates. This is important as I am responsible for a lot of the machinery work on the home farm.”
