Agriculture

Farming and its related service and processing industries provide over 54,000 jobs and produce a gross output of just over £1.2 billion. With many issues facing the agriculture industry, including CAP reform, cross compliance and the Nitrates Directive, it is imperative that those considering a career in the industry are capable of adapting and embracing new technologies, policies and marketing opportunities.

At Greenmount Campus the Agriculture programmes have repeatedly received endorsement from the industry. The Campus estate provides outstanding resources for students on all levels of course.
