WD Morrow Award rewards best Masters Thesis Masters in Communication student Maxine Irwin (Belfast) was presented with the new WD Morrow Award for the student achieving the highest marks in the MSc thesis component of the Communication course by Michael Drake (Trustee of the WD Morrow Trust Fund). Maxine was one of 25 students graduating from the Queen’s University Belfast Communication programmes at Loughry campus who were recognised at the ceremony. |

National Diploma students scoop top prizes at Loughry National Diploma students Mary Breen (Portadown), Ciara McAllister (Cushendall) and Zita Blair (Moneymore) celebrate their graduation at Loughry’s Awards day with Peter Simpson (Senior Lecturer, CAFRE). Zita and Ciara studied on the National Diploma course after completing their GCSE exams in school opting for a more practical route to higher-level study, while Mary has used the course to gain a qualification that will enable her return to work. |
