Equine Law Seminar

Background

The number of people involved in the equine industry in Northern Ireland continues to grow each year. While many people keep horses purely for recreation there are a significant number who are running equine businesses. These range from breeding, producing young stock, buying and selling, competing as well as livery, riding schools and racing yards.

There has been some confusion over the many rules and regulations which impact upon horse owners. The Equine Law seminar aims to address some of the key issues such as liability, Health and Safety, planning permission, rates and taxation issues.
