CAFRE offers a range of Agri-Environment training courses that are designed for persons with a wide range of previous experience.  

Members of an Agri-Environment Scheme such as the Countryside Management Scheme or Environmentally Sensitive Areas Scheme are expected to attend a training programme which consists of:

• Field Boundary Management including Tree and Hedge Planting
• Cross Compliance
• Dealing with Farm Wastes.

Farmers who have joined the New Entrants Scheme must attend:

• Field Boundary Management including Tree and Hedge Planting
• Cross Compliance
• Dealing with Farm Wastes
• Nitrates Information Meeting

Workshops are open to all farmers or members of their families who wish to take part.
