Basic Farm Welding

Overview:

A practical course with delivery centred around agricultural welding at a basic level. Trainees who successfully complete the assessment element of this course will be awarded an OCN certificate in basic farm welding.

Who is the course for?

Farmers and Growers wishing to improve their welding skills and knowledge

Course Content:

  • Identification of the best welding system to be used for the task
  • Safety and personal protective equipment
  • MIG and MMA welding
  • Basic oxyacetylene welding
  • Welding a range of joints and laps
  • Selection and using product information
