Sheepdog Handling

Overview

A practical skills course for both the handler and their sheepdog. Training is delivered on an one to one basis.

Who is the Course for?

Farmers and their working sheepdogs at all stages of training.

Course Content

  • Selection of a suitable dog for training
  • Feeding your dog
  • Health and vaccination
  • Dog assessment with instructor
  • Individual farmer assessment with instructor
  • Corrective training for both dog and farmer
