Sheep Shearing Gear and Grinding

Overview

Participants are shown how to select equipment, set up equipment and provide maintenance as well as following the safe procedures while shearing. The Course is accredited by British Wool Marketing Board.

  • Safety procedure while shearing

Cutter and comb grinding

  • Maintenance & operation of the grinding machine
  • Preparation of cutters & combs for grinding
  • Practical grinding of combs & cutters
