Overview

This two-day course is suitable for farmers and growers who have a limited knowledge of organic production methods and who are considering converting to organic production.

  • Organic Certification
  • Organic livestock and crops
  • Organic vegetables and horticulture
  • Conversion to organic production
  • Organic Farming Scheme details
  • Marketing of organic produce

Optional sessions are organised to suit needs. A visit to the Greenmount Organic Unit is included. Visiting industry speakers or a visit to an organic farm may be included in the course.
