Michigan State University Exchange Programme

CAFRE and Michigan State University (MSU) in the United States of America have a long-established student exchange programme.  While at MSU, CAFRE students study modules and gain credits comparable to those they would gain at the College.

Following my arrival at Michigan State University (MSU) campus I was made very welcome by the University staff. An organised induction week for all the International students enabled me to become  familiar with my surroundings and meet fellow students from all around the world.
I enrolled in four classes at MSU, which gave me the opportunity to study aspects of agri-food management, communication methods, human nutrition and principles of packaging. With class size ranging from 200 - 500 students the sheer size of MSU was very evident, but this did not prevent us from making many new and interesting friends.
The exchange programme was not limited to the campus and I took the opportunity to tour around the country and see the sites!
The exchange programme to MSU can only be described as a fantastic experience, one that I will never forget!”
