Strong interest in the equine industry

Enniskillen Campus recently hosted a very successful open day. Prospective students travelled from all over Ireland  and England to view the excellent equine facilities at the campus.

Over 150 prospective students, parents and friends were welcomed to the Campus by Seamus McAlinney before Gayle Moane, Equine Lecturer gave an overview of all of the equine courses and facilities offered at the campus. The guests also had an opportunity to view the facilities which incorporates a racing unit, a new breeding unit and an equitation unit.

Visitors attending the Campus were very impressed by all that they saw but for many it was the informal, friendly atmosphere and the welcome provided by staff and students which impressed them most.

Enniskillen Campus currently provides the widest range of equine courses in Ireland, offering courses from First Diploma Level through to Degree Level. In addition to completing their formal academic studies, students have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities, which complement formal course work, throughout the academic year.  All of which gives the Enniskillen Campus students a first class experience both from an academic and practical perspective.
