2012 - Original Courtyard redevelopment completed and construction of new dairy unit commences

2011 - Visit to the Campus by HRH Prince William and his fiancée Miss Catherine Middleton

2008 - Greenkeeping and Golf Academy opened by Rory McIlroy

2004 - Greenmount, Loughry and Enniskillen campuses amalgamated to form CAFRE

2002 - Greenmount Resource Centre opened

2001 - Richardson’s Walled Garden Millennium project completed

2000 - Agricultural Mechanisation courses commenced

2000 - Opening of the new Machinery and Buildings Centre

1999 - Floristry courses commenced

1999 - Veterinary Nursing courses commenced

1998 - Start of Agricultural Technology degree with QUB partnership

1998 - John Fay appointed Principal

1994 - National Diploma in Amenity Horticulture launched

1993 - Roy McClenaghan appointed Principal

1989 - 3 year HND in agriculture introduced

1989 - Greenmount Country Fair runs which attracted 26,000 visitors

1984 - One year part-time YTP in agriculture introduced

1984 - Robert Fulton appointed Principal

1982 - New dairy unit constructed

1979 - Greenmount Nature Trail set up

1973 - Amenity Horticulture course introduced

1969 - 3 year National Diploma in Agriculture commenced

1967 - New accommodation (Fulton Hall) built for 60 students

1962 - First female students admitted to courses

1961 - New accommodation (Boyd Hall) built for 80 students.

1952 - Greenmount became an experimental husbandry farm

1948 - Matt Boyd appointed Principal

1939 to 1947 - Main courses suspended due to World War II

1929 - Robert Fannin appointed Principal

1922 - First intake of Horticulture students

1914 to 1918 - Courses suspended due to World War I

1912 - College opened on 8 October with 11 agriculture students. John Marchbank appointed Principal
