History
The purchase of the Greenmount farm site in 1910 and the creation of a farm school was a decision destined to have a huge impact on many aspects of Northern Ireland farming. The College's contribution to the agricultural and horticultural industries has been immense since its inception. The beginning of agricultural education in 1912 was the first step in what became the constantly changing and developing story about Greenmount Agricultural and Horticultural College.
