The Campus retail outlet is an active learning resource, providing opportunities for students to develop the skills associated with: managing a retail facility; managing income and financial transactions; customer handling and care; marketing and merchandising food products. A range of 130 product lines, ranging from traditional dairy and meat based products to ready meals are produced and sold through the retail outlet.

All products are scanned through the new hi-tech EPoS system, which provides valuable management information such as sales of specific product lines, product categories, stock control and a customer loyalty scheme. The Campus retail outlet serves a customer base of staff, students and the general public.
