The Greenmount Resource Centre (GRC) offers four multi-media computer suites with over a hundred PCs. All computers are internet equipped and in addition to Microsoft office professional they offer a number of bespoke programs required for different courses. Computers in the suites have a software system to allow interaction with the lecturer.
The Campus also provides high performance workstations with access to computer applications such as computer aided design (CAD).
All computer suites run an extensive range of business recording programs enabling students to gain access to the latest information on all campus enterprises.
Students and staff interact via the Blackboard virtual learning environment which is an excellent communication tool and learning resource.
A wide range of back-up facilities both in terms of human resources and other IT equipment are available to teaching staff and students. A full-time computer technician maintains all computer suites to ensure students can make the best use of the facilities.
